Elisabeth Carlson

Professor at the Department of Care Science. The main focus for my research and teaching is preceptorship and learning during clinical practice, collaborative learning and interprofessional education. I am the head of the research group Pedagogics and Profession. Within the group we explore and critically review collaborative learning processes. Further, the research group studies how knowledge and skills are shaped, transformed and developed in relation to education, professional life and changing demands from the community. I am the PI for a collaboration between the departments for Care Science and Biomedical Science, Research Informed Development of Health Care Education (RIDHE)focusing interprofessional learning. I have initiated the development of an international didactic network Estonian- Nordic Network for Health Care Education (ENNHANCE),the work commenced spring 2019.
