Johan Brännmark
Senior Lecturer

Born 1971. Johan Brännmark completed his Ph.D. in Practical Philosophy at Lund University in 2002 with a dissertation on Kantian ethics and has since then done research on topics like value theory, Aristotelian ethics, and the relation between moral philosophy and empirical psychology. He became a docent in 2009 and since 2011 he is an associate professor in ethics and political philosophy at the Department of Global Political Studies, teaching mainly within human rights. He is currently an Academy Researcher, working on biomedical ethics, financed by The Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities.
