The purpose of my research is to highlight how a global dimension could be created in education and teaching towards sustainability. A special attention is paid to how the implementation process locally interacts with a global context. The variation of knowledge formation for sustainable development in global-local settings is studied. `Global Learning for Sustainable Development´ (GLSD) is introduced. 2019-2020 I continue to collaborate with my colleagues on educational development and research thanks to the Swedish Institute for Educational Research on Opening up new spaces for preschool education in a diverse and migrating world.

Region Skåne has approved funding for my new research project (2019-2020) for educational development on how to improve learning and teaching of sustainability challenges and opportunities Varför ska jag göra något för miljö och hållbarhet? Och, hur?.
