|My interest is in the workings of politics and power and I study how decisions are made and policies created and implemented across contemporary governance frameworks. As part of a major research project run by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research I am currently researching the potential for policy change to drive new sustainability models in the textile and fashion industry. I greatly enjoy teaching and I teach and supervise across a number of courses at Bachelor and Masters in Politics and International Relations.|
Scott McIver is a 'universitetslektor' (Senior Lecturer / U.S. Associate Professor) at the Department of Global Political Studies. My political science Ph.D on comparative citizenship policy was awarded by the School of Social and Political Studies at the University of Edinburgh. During the autumn of 2013 I will be on a STINT fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) where I will teach the course 'Global Ideas: Policy Mobility, International Cooperation and Transnational Governance'.
